| How old for grooming? Lilly is 14 weeks and is starting to look a little scruffy! I will wait until she has her vaccines but am wondering how old everyone's yorkie was when they had a first haircut? |

| I believe it was 5 months on the three I had as puppies. I just made sure all the shot's were done before I took them.

| Kaos was 5-6 monthes, but I groomed him. I found a pic of him after his first haircut pretty hilarious. (figured I'd share) His ears are HUGE btw, so glad they don't stand anymore.

| Both my boys just got their first groom 2 weeks ago when they turned 5 months but I did not cut their hair, just a bath, paws , ears and eyes and anal glands done.

| Chloe had the easiest hair to manage, so she was probably 9 months when I took her in. Toby will be 18 weeks on Wednesday and looks scruffy. He is due for his last shots tomorrow and then I will wait 2 weeks to make sure they are effective and take him in at 20 weeks! |

| Harry was almost 5 months. He had "the works". Unfortunately he wasn't that keen on it - and ended up round the lady's neck - then sat on her head during nail-clipping time! Sally + Harry x |

Hot Rod was 6 mos old at his first groom. I was shocked and almost started crying when I picked him up. I don't know what I expected but he looked like a different dog. All of his black tips were gone and he looked so grown up. My puppy was growing up.

| butters was around 4 months when I took him to get a trim and to get his ears cleaned. Then at around 5-6 months he went for a full grooming day (bath, trim, nails, etc). |

| Finley just had her first grooming this week at 14 weeks. She was very shaggy and had matted hair on her hips that were getting worse. She had to be shaved and now I miss my shaggy mess! |

| i started morgan when he was 13 weeks old// she just bathed him and brushed him and did some light trimming just to get him used to the noise and the sounds of the shop. the groomer likes to get them started early so they get used to the noise of the clippers and standing on the table |
