New Baby 7 weeks old
 
I joined this site just before Easter. I was going through a rough time, especially after we had to have our 11 year old baby put to sleep. In a months time she went from an active baby to being blind, stubbling around on our wood floors. After several test it was found that she had an inoperible brain tumor. I still have my crying spells, I miss her so.
Even though we still have our 5 year old Yorkipoo, Miss Chloe', it was not the same. Miss Chloe' has changed. It is like she misses Angel also. So we purchased another 7 week old Yorkie yesterday. So the sleepness nights of a yapping baby begins, LOL.

Congrats on your new baby. But WOW 7 weeks old??? That is way too young to be taken from it's Momma. They should stay with the Mom until at least 12 weeks old.

Again so very sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the hole left in your heart.

Congrats on you new baby! Wishing you the best of luck, please watch her closely as she is so very young.

Thanks Perella. I do not know quite how to Post a photo. I thought I had put a photo for my profile photo. I hope I got this right. There is one of Chloe' our Yorkipoo and Sasha Belle the new 7 week old baby.

She is a cutie but 7 weeks is so young she still needs to be with her mom at that age.

Congratulations on your new baby. She is adorable. 7 weeks is way to young to be without momma. 12 weeks is a better age. But sounds like you will give her all the love she needs.

congraulations on your new baby!!!! That baby is just too cute.. enjoy.

I guess you get the point that most of us, after doing research, know it is best to leave the baby with his/her mother to 12 weeks. I don't know the story of why you got her so young, just take extra care of her and be sure she is socialized to make up the difference. There are many on here that will be happy to help with advice.

Enjoy that baby for many many many years!!

Congrats!! She's cute. As everyone has mentioned, she is young, but I got my baby when she was 6 weeks old and she's now almost 3 and is socialized just fine.

Awwwww...two sweet babies! Make sure she eats at least every couple of hours for a few weeks, and then 4-5 times a day until she's a big girl! Keep her warm and make sure she doesn't expend too much energy....LOTS of rest. Zoe was just tiny when I got her and it took a lot of dedication, patience, quick thinking and $$$ to keep her going. I hope yours is less of a struggle, and I'm sending lots of puppy wellness thoughts your way!

LOL, this is exactly how my girl would be too, hahaha. Don't worry, she will come around. Gosh, they are both sweet as can be! I just love the picture you posted of them.

Such a sweet little puppy. It doesn't look like Miss Chloe is too impressed as yet. I'm sure she will come around.

Seven weeks is quite young for a little one like that to be taken from the mom but it can be done if the puppy is healthy and gets lots of care and love. Hope things go well for you.

Very cute! At least your older one doesn't get off the bed when the baby is on it. That should give you hope they'll become friends.:)

Congrats on your lil bit. She is a cutie. I also brought my baby home at 7 1/2 weeks. I wish she stayed with her momma longer but she is now doing great! :)
