| Why can't I do this?!?!?!?! After hacking Gus's ears up not too long ago,,, they finally grew out some so I thought I'd give it another try. LOL I can laugh about it now but man I was getting frustrated!!! I only took me most of the morning but I think we got it???? From step one and not getting it right,,, to what I think is ok and will have to do! First 3 pic out of 6. Poor Guy, I usre did make a mess of his ears!

| I think Gus looks great!!! I have a really hard time with Kai too...I cut the hair on her nose cuz it was going in her eyes and she looks so bad now!!! all I can do is let it grow!!! GOOD JOB ON GUS'S EARS :-)

| Gus looks good, I shave the ears on my three. I go down about 1/3 from the top and completly shave them, (front and back)then I leave the hair long on the rest! |

| I think they look good, Monica! I'd be afraid to see how I would butcher them! There would surely be blood and tears when I got through! I'll leave it up to the pros. Is your little booger eating yet?

Donating Member | I know you'll get it - practice makes perfect - I think he looks great - I use a Wahl trimmer - I just go upwards on the top 1/3 of the ear ...never against the edge of the ear - you hold the ear flat against your thumb and shave upwards.....front and back of ears - Here is a pic of Cheri so you can see her ears....and a pic of the trimmer I use if this helps - The width of the trimmer head is about 1" I've never really messed up using this one - and if you only shave up - you can't hurt them |

| Villette, you could hack her ears up any way and she would still be a beauty. It does take a while for the hair to grow thick and longer, so the ears might not look the way you want just yet..But, they will in time.. |
