| ![]() Does she have fleas? How old is she? I would take her in to the vet if she just started to itch. Pnut is pretty itchy just because of the summer. I give him K-9 Advantix once a month, I also give him Coconut oil. I bath him once a week too. When his skin is really irritated I spray his Gentocin spray on him. I would talk to you vet first, Yorkie's are so small it's not that easy to just put human grade medicine on them.

| ![]() Yes, please take your baby to the vet. There are many different reasons she could be itching, like fleas, mites, etc. that have to have a vet's diagnosis. It is just too risky to put human meds on a little dog, without knowing what is going on. |

| ![]() Take to Vet and let them check her out. Jack has this problem also. Vet said she thinks it is summer allergies. She gave meds for it which I haven't given to him (not a med person unless necessary). I looked up the medicine when I got home and it is actually the generic version of Claratin 10mg. Vet said to give 1/2 tablet as needed. They sell it in childrens formula liquid. I personaly would not give no meds though until I seen a vet myself and still I am leery. I take a wet rag when he starts itching and wipe the area down. Mostly his paws. I got some of the coconut oil also and put on him and let it set in as long as I can and then bathe him more often. I have also cut back on the "chicken" intake. He has calm down alot with all this. |

| ![]() Also, some foods have made Kasha more itchy than others ... namely Royal Canin which she was on when we got her. I'd def call the vet ... one never knows why they itch!
