| It's really up to you. If you allow it, he'll do it. Some people find it funny/entertaining, and others don't. I personally don't like it, and the few times Kaji did it I stopped him. He only ever humped my old roomie's pom, and I put a stop to that. That was 2 years ago and he hasn't done it since. He's not a humper and I'm ok with that.

| I wouldn't allow humping of another dog or people. But Jackson does occasionally go at it with this big pink teddy bear and I let him *shrug* It's not like he does it in front of a ton of guests or does it ALL the time and like I said, he never humps people or other dogs (that's a no-no in my book -- as we are around kids and other people a lot plus dog parks, etc, and I don't want the dog that is humping everyone). He's neutered and 3yrs old and only has a few special 'toys' he plays with. It seems like it feels good LoL and he likes it and all... so yeah, I just allow it on occasion. Gets some of his energy out! Ha!

| Yeah, it is. I would pick him up and move him away from the other dog. If it's a toy, just take it away.

I think it's easy to teach them to hump one thing. If he humps the one thing your ok with let him do it. When he focuses his humping on something else, like your arm, his fursister, or his skinbrother, then you say no and remove him or the object. Like you said, consistency and patience and eventually they'll get it.

| Ban humping, its so boring wen dogs hump constantly, if he humps other dog he's trying to dominate (or just wanna get laid haha) but just ban this behavior.

| I would make him stop, IMO I can't stand when dogs hump other dogs. In fact my friends yorkie/pom (todd) humps Pnut whenever they are together and it drives me bonkers! I know it bugs Pnut also!
