| Biewer question ... Nilla's fur is changing? I've been noticing that the black fur Nilla has on the top of her head looks like it's starting to turn blue ... The spots on her back don't appear to be, but I don't know if that will change or not, as I've read you really don't know what color you'll get. Is it possible for a full blooded Biewer to have the blue and black fur, or is that a sign that she may be mixed with Yorkie? I will, quite obviously, love her no matter what, I was just surprised when I saw the color change.

| Kind of? Debatable depending on who you talk to/ask. Some people will jump down your throat if your Biewer is a F1 or F2, which is mixing with regular Yorkie. I just call it a variance. The breed did originate from the Yorkshire Terrier. The generations for Biewers have to go back to the Biewer's original 2.

| Okay, thanks. I was just curious to see if that was abnormal for a purebred Biewer.

| Bogie is 2.5 yrs old and his facial hair has changed in the last 2 years. It has darkened some and has some black now mixed in with the blue, white and gold, but it is mostly blue. His saddle and leg area hasn't changed much at all.

| Nilla Bean I have to use my camera phone, as (sadly) it works better than my little digital Nikon. Weird ... but yes. I have more from today, I just haven't transferred them to the computer yet. She's a force to be reckoned with if you're trying to get her to sit still for more than 2 seconds at a time.

| Biewer babies. She's just gotten a lot bigger and maybe it's a different angle pic, I don't know. The black on the top of her head is starting to turn blue at the roots. She's my little ham! I hope you get yours soon!

| She is darling!!! Biewer's are sometimes referred to as "rainbow dogs" because of their ever changing coat color. |

| Ham. Her snout looks a lot longer when it's not sticking out, lol! She's been playing hard today, and peeing hard. She knows she gets a Zuke's peanut butter treat if she goes on her pad, so sometimes I think she forces herself to pee. That may be why she's a bit of a ham ... LOL.
