| Yorkies' ears This may be a silly question, but I can't be sure as I'm a new owner. Will our baby's ears stand up on their own? Some people have said we should help train them to stand and others said the hair has to be clipped for them to stand? Does anyone know the truth? Please let me know if you do!! Thanks! Karen |

| I've also heard both theories. My babie's ears stood up on their own, although he did go to get groomed every month and the groomer did shave his ears while he was there so that could have helped. But other than that, I did nothing to help them and they are very perky 3 years later still! hehe

| Here's Max's ear saga: When we got him (2 months) one ear had popped up, the other hadn't. He stayed this way for about a month, then they were both down. (Our groomer said that short puppy hair isn't heavy enough to weigh down the ears.) We spent a while trying to decide if we should tape them or leave them alone to see what happened...and decided to wait it out. Just this week (4.5 months) both ears have popped up again & haven't flopped in days. |

| Biddy had one ear up and one ear down for a few weeks. All I could do was laugh at her - she looked so goofy! Finally the other ear popped up and stayed. Thank God - I think she was beginning to get a complex! |
