| Thundershirt Has anyone purchased the Thundershirt for their furbabies, and does it work? I just saw this in a magazine, and it says it is recommended by veterinarians and trainers. It helps with thunder, separation anxiety, travel and problem barking. My girl goes crazy with thunder, firecrackers, etc. The cost is $36 so I am curious before deciding whether or not to order this item. Thanks. Kate

| It works for a lot and not for others. You can send it back for a refund if it doesn't work.

| I personally know 2 people who have gotten this and one says that it has worked out fantastically and the other says that it did help. The second friend mainly purchased it for her dog while riding in the car--she is better but is still anxious to ride.

| Just received the one I ordered for Kayla but have not used it yet. I got it for her because of having CT and thought it would help when we took her to the vet. We are suppose to give her Benedryl an hr. before she goes to the doctor so I thought this might work. Hope so. She gets sooooo upset. |

| I got the Thundershirt for Chase a couple months ago. I am still amazed at how much it helps him. He was so scared during storms. He would pant, shake, and wouldn't lay down or even take treats. With the shirt there is no panting or shaking He will take treats, play, and even lay down and go to sleep! I was so helpless before and just wanted to cry because I couldn't do anything to help him. I was even thinking of asking the vet for meds to help him calm down. I am so thankful I got this and it works!!!! |

| I didn't find that it helped Jackson all that much so I returned it. But then again, he never had MAJOR fear of storms. He's very afraid of fireworks but we rarely encounter those and we were lucky enough to bypass them all this year. Last night, we had some brutal thunderstorms, and the night before, too. And all day on/off today. He doesn't like them but he's been fairly calm throughout. Occasionally he goes under the bed during the big booms. But I didn't feel the amount of fear he had warranted the $40 shirt so I returned it, lol. But many others have had AMAZING success.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have one for Pixie and it seems to work better each time we use it. At first I didn't think it helped. The vet gave me a herbal medicine called Nutricalm which has helped and when I use it with the thundershirt it really makes a difference.

| If this works for Kayla it will be wonderful. The last trip to the vet was a nightmare. Went for a Bordetala shot and almost lost her. Most will remember me telling about it on here. Her fever went to 106, she began to have CT spell. bad! They put fans on her, rub her down with alkahol. So if this works it will be the best thing in the world for her. She can't even ride in the car without a panic attack. Thunder, rain, fireworks never bother her. Go figure. |

| I'm interested in the Thundershirt as my two Yorkies go bonkers when people come to the door, the UPS truck goes by, the neighbors kids are playing in their own backyard. They are major barkers (my male even bites toes!) and would like to find something that can calm them down. I tried Bark-Off. It doesn't really work for my dogs although it seems to calm down the other dog they are engaged with on the other side of the fence! They wear clothes all the time (my male wears shirts with sleeves because otherwise he chews his armpit leaving sores) so was wondering if the Thundershirt can be worn all day long?? My dogs don't seem to fear loud noises but we don't have many thunderstorms here. My male does howl when the phone rings however. |
