| Welcome and congrats on your new little addition. WOW, only 7 weeks, that is very very young. Don't worry about the ears, your baby is still very young. As he gets older the groomer can shave the hair on top of the ears o so the ears don't get weighed down. Normally the ears naturally pop up between now and 6 months of age Nutrical - a supliment given to regulate sugar levels to avoid hypoglycemia is very important to get. Supplied by your vet. A nice cozy soft warm bed is needed A good vet is needed - high priority, one who specializes in small breeds. All the books you can find that talk about Yorkie's is a huge plus A crate. This is his den, he will find comfort and warmth within it and give you reasurance knowing he is safe while you cannot watch him like a hawk. Grooming supplies - slicker brush and flea comb for hair around the face, a good quality shampoo/conditioner A high quality food - metal or glass food and water dishes, no plastic as they harbor bacteria And a name??? What is his name? Welcome and if you'd like share photo's as we all love pictures here.
