We were blessed to adopt our Tessie a little over 2 years ago and she only weighed 2.8 lbs at 2 1/2 years old. She was honestly the smallest baby we had ever seen....but with the biggest heart & personality :) She will be 5 years old next week and she now weighs a healthy 3.4 lbs. Of course she has no idea of her size.....sometimes she acts like she is a 100+ german shepherd ;) |
Sounds great... he eats like a champ, but hasn't put on too much weight. However, he would still suckle occasionally and I have a feeling that is why his weight has plateaued. My email is adri_gutierrez@yahoo.com ... it is easy for posts to get lost here, so feel free to email me. It will be neat to see how they grow, since they do share the exact same birthday! (HAPPY 13 WEEKS TO AHI AS WELL):D Quote:

I have a little guy but he is slated to be about 4-5 lbs which is in the "good" range. He is a little over 2 lbs now and I love being able to sweep him up with one hand...lol. I am afraid he will get hurt though so I will be glad when he is his full size. The teeny ones are precious though!! |
JoeJoe is 14 Weeks now and was weighed at 1 pound 3 ounces yesterday. His brother from the same litter just hit 3 1/2 pounds a week ago. My baby's growing fast but apparently not fast enough. Fingers crossed that he will hit at least 3 pounds, maybe more. :D |

Abby is 3.1 pounds at 18 weeks - she was 1.6 at 10 weeks. Max is 4.5 at 20 weeks - he was 2.6 at 14 weeks. They have the same fur daddy, but different mommies. The breeder thought because of the size of the parents, they would both get between 4-5 pounds. Fingers crossed for Abby - she is still so tiny. Abby's sister was so small at 12 weeks when I went to pick up Abby - still under 1 pound. The breeder kept her with her mommy all the time until the 12 week mark (lucky for me) and then let her out to play with the other babies. I got to meet her when I went to pick up Abby. My breeder said she would not sell her because she was so small. She had a friend with a tiny yorkie (2 pounds at 2 years) and was giving the puppy to her instead. The sister had no idea how small she was and ran around with her litter mates acting all tough - too funny. |
when i adopted my pixie last year, she was 4 1/2 months old and 2 pounds exactly. she is now almost 15 months and weighs 3.2 pounds. she is quite the little ball of energy too!!! |

LMAO!! thats all i can say |
My Macy is 2lbs - she was just at the vet last week for her titer tests & is 2years & 7months old. We would like her to get to 2 1/2lbs. We got her at 6months old & she was just under 2lbs at 1.9 |
Ella is 1.6 lbs and she is 5 months old. She is a lot smaller than we ever expected her to be. The rest of the litter is over 3lbs right now. We are hoping she hits 3lbs or bigger but she doesn't seem to be growing much. Vet said she is healthy and looks good!! |
I went to the vet today and my little Sweet Potato has gained a whole pound in 3 weeks!! He is 3.1 lbs now. I may get a teapot yet! |
Sofia is 2.8 at 2 years, and Alexis is 1.12 at 8 months, Zoey who is Lexies sister from the same litter is 5.3 at 8 months. We're hoping that now that Alexis has been spayed and had her baby teeth pulled she might gain some weight. I would love for her to get at least as big as Sofia. |
