| Anyone's baby terrified of the camera?? Why, oh why is my little Maddie so scared of the camera? Now that I finally have a new one, I've been trying to take some pictures of her here and there and she is just so terrified of it!! She watches every move I make and if she sees me pick up that camera, even to move it, she runs and hides. It's really kind of cute, but I want to take sweet little pics of her. Anyone's babies scared of the camera? She acts like I'm stealing her soul if I take her picture...LOL (as my boyfriend says)! The funny thing is that I've only tried a few times several hours apart so that she doesn't get stressed out. I don't want her to remember it as some sort of traumatizing experience for whatever reason. There's no surprising her. She's on the lookout for the "soul stealing camera"...LOL. Any suggestions?

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | No...not afraid but I get alot of THIS (see pic below) Try turning off your flash ? I take alot of pics outside cause my girls don't like the flash - (neither do I) and they really don't mind the camera but they DO go into silly mode when they see it |

| Trixie LOVES the camera. But of course she knows she's going to get treats if she's a good girl...

| Yea, my Gracie is terrified. She watches every mood that I make and then once she hears the noise of it turning on, she runs and hides. I am going to try to find a camera that isnt so loud when I turn it on or when it takes a pic. |

| Yeah, I've tried the no flash bit, but it's too late now. She already knows whats up...lol. Such a funny pic red98vett! I guess I'll just keep trying and hopefully eventually she will just get used to it. Monkey doesn't mind at all. He couldn't care less when he sees it. Sometimes I'll get him all excited so I can take his picture, then he sees the camera and is just like "oh, that thing again. Yeah right, whatever"..lol

| My dogs are okay unless the flash is on. I just have trouble getting any good shots of them.
