Deeogi, you are such a brave boy. Keep getting better and better every day!

I have been afraid to open this thread. I went right to the last page and gave a huge sigh of relief. I am SO glad the little love is OK. How wonderful it must have been to get that first kiss. :cheer: I am glad you are going to get the bills pay and then report. People need to know there are SERIOUS consequences for their actions.

I am known as the crazy mean dog lady on the block that gets VERY angry at dogs off leash. I have followed kids home that are repeat offenders and been stern with their parents.

Oh, Deeogi is beautiful in that picture in spite of those horribble wounds. I see spunk and courage in that lovely little face. Determination. What a hero he is to me!!!

I and all of us will certainly pray that things will go very well with AC and that you can get this dangerous dog and irresponsible owner under the oversight of AC so that future little Deeogi's and kids will be safe.

Have you no prospects at all for forever homes for your little rescues at this time? If not, perhaps in our prayers, we can ask God to send wonderful, responsible, committed and loving new owners seeking them once they are advertised in whatever format you use. Little Deeogi will be taking a lot of your time for the next few weeks as you will be pretty busy tending to all the things you will be doing to tend his wounds and keep them clean, give medications, record temperature, doing some water PT, running him to the vet for follow-up, etc. Try your best not to wear yourself out and take your rest where you can.

Deeogi will be in my prayers until he has reached maximum medical improvement and even then I'll likely never forget him. Thank you for being such a wonderful mommie.

Keeping your boy in my prayers....so glad to see that he is doing better...He must love being able to be with you at night...And im sure you must love being with him as well...Sweet Boy....so sad he had to go through this....:(

Just look at that handsome little face!! :) There is definitely lots of life sparkling in those eyes - he is just precious.

I am so happy to read that Deeogie is improving. Wishing you good luck in dealing with animal control, I would never give advice on what I think you should do, however I am happy that you are comfortable in reporting this so that this dog can't be allowed to do this again. Perhaps next time to a small child as well. God bless you and your family, still praying for Deeogie's continued recovery.

I have been out of town and just saw this thread. I too went straight to the last page and saw he was okay! I backed up and saw his pictures too. What a sweet baby! I am so, so happy he is going to be ok!!!!!!!!! I know this has been extremely rough on you all and I pray for a speedy recovery!

Deeogie's kiss brought tears of joy for me. I have such wonderful memories of the love and kisses my girls gave me, but there were some that were so extra meaningful for me. They were the ones given shortly before I lost each of them that, although they were feeling ill, they had to let me know an extra time how much they loved me. I am counting on Deeogie to get well. He has so much to live for! Thank you for your devotion and your love to your special little boy and for always keeping us updated about how he is doing. I keep returning to your thread to see how both of you are doing. My love and prayers to both of you...

Oh that poor baby! He still looks cute as a button and yes, his ears do look like wings on a plane with the rest of his body shaved! :)

I'm still praying for a quick recovery for your little boy. I agree he must be quite the fighter. I'm sure you'll be taking excellent care of him while he recouperates.

Poor little man, those pictures are just heartbreaking to see and know how scary that must have been for him as well as you. I am so happy to see that he is doing better and his ears are adorable in those pictures. :)
