I also want to tell you that we are dogsitting a a large cow dog, pitbull and ? mix. Apparently she recently snapped at a toddler and broke the skin, making us very nervous and torn about what to do; her owners are good friends (and she's stayed with us and Zoe before and done fine). Right after hearing about her snapping I read your story and really realized how quickly things can go terribly wrong. I will now not leave Zoe and our guest out together. If Zoe is not actually asleep in my arms, then we will leave the other dog at a mutual friend's house or in her crate.
So, you could have saved another little life, or prevented an accident from happening. Your brave little face and torn little body will always stay in my mind and keep me on my toes regarding Zoe's safety.

I haven't been on much and I'm just now seeing that Deeogi was attacked. I read your whole thread and I'm so very sorry for what he has been through. Sending my prayers that he will be feeling good again very soon. What about his leg? Is it going to be ok?

Deeogi, get well soon. We love you and hope you'll be having fun with the rest of the crew in the near future. Don't worry about all of that gorgeous hair, either. It'll grow back!:)

I will never forget how awful it was to read that first post from your mommy as she told us about the attack from that horrible pitbull. I and so many others here were devestated to know that you had been hurt so badly. I have been praying to God everyday for a full and speedy recovery and for strength for your mommy and the rest of your family. I have a little girl about your size and I can't imagine how scared and sad I would be if anything happened to her. We moms care so much about our little ones. You give us so much love and joy and we want nothing more than to keep you safe and happy. It breaks our hearts when you hurt. I know it broke my heart to know that you were hurt :(

I was so relieved and so very very happy to hear that you were getting better. I never expected you to do as well as you have. You are one tough cookie!

As far as looks are concerned you have nothing to ever feel bad about. When I first saw you it was the pictures of you after "that" day and my first thought was "oh my goodness what a cutie!" You truly are a gorgeous little man. My Chloe couldnt tear her eyes away from the computer screen :) Not only are you incredibly handsome but you are also such a strong little man, your fighting spirit has blown me away! You are very special sweetie.

You and your family have touched my heart. As much as I was saddened to hear of your injury I was inspired by the love and devotion of your mommy and family. You have such a warm and loving home. You have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I, too, am just reading this and could not read 11 pages and not comment. I just had to stop crying first. This is so heartbreaking and I can just imagine how scared and hurt and worried you must have been. I am so happy to hear that Deeogi is on the mend. I hope you follow thru with reporting this in the hopes that someone else never has to go thru what you and Deeogi have been thru. What a strong willed little boy you have there. Deeogi, I hope you feel better every day and can't wait to hear that you are happily running thru your house and yard playing once again with your siblings with no pain.

I've been so scared to check back in on this thread -- I am soo happy Deeogi is doing better! What a little fighter. I just want to give him a million kisses and make it all better.
