What a little fighter!! He really is amazing to survive such terrible wounds. I am praying he makes a full recovery.

I am very glad that Deeogi is on his way to recovery. The little guy is a fighter! I am glad that the neighbor is taking care of the vet bills as she should be, and you will take action in reporting her . People need to be more responsible with dangerous dogs like pitbulls.

That made me want to cry! It is so true though, they are always trying to comfort us no matter how bad things get!

Saw a story on HLN today about a little girl who was mauled by a pitbull, I think it was 5 years ago, and is getting ready to have or has had 57 surgeries to this date. This showed the little darling. A great deal of her little scalp is missing and her face, though repaired multiple times, is scared, warped and one eye sets very strangely in her face. Her life though saved was irrevocably changed and she has suffered for so long. Such a brave and precious child. I don't know the circumstances of her attack and whether it was a dog out of its yard or what, but so many big dog attacks are. But helping even one little creature in your neighborhood from having to undergo horror like that child and Deeogi have is a blessed thing you will be doing. Still praying for Deeogi and you.

Me and DH were in Petsmart getting the babies a new Nylabone, I was casually talking to a lady in line, she had some eyewash for her Shih Tzu, she also had a dachsund. I commented I had 4 Yorkies, she said Oh, I have 4 other dogs, 3 Pitbulls and a German Shepherd:eek: I told her she needed to be careful with her small dogs. She told me the BIG dogs are chained up outside in the back yard in a Kennel.:eek: Then I preced to tell her about poor Deeogi and she tells me her pitbulls are very sweet and would not harm anything except to lick a lot.:rolleyes: I wish I knew where she lived.

Wondering how Deeogi is feeling today?

Hello Mommies, Daddies & my Brothers & Sisters,
I am doing better still weak and not very hungry. I sleep alot. My mommies mommie (she doesn't like to be called grandma) keeps trying to feed me baby food, yogurt and bananas. Any other time I would have gone crazy for this stuff but my tummy still feels funny. I know she worries so I try to eat a little everytime she offers. They removed the drainage tubes today and thank goodness no more IV. I am more comfortable now when I try to move around. I was able to take few steps today my mommies mommie kinda made me she said" come on you can do it lets go potty" It actually felt good to be able to stand again. Right after I went pee I stood next to her so she would pick me up but she said "no, keep taking few more steps" I took few more steps and she was very proud of me and gave me lots of kisses:D

I was kinda upset when I found out that mommies mommie posted those pics:thumbdown Man! I look awful. So I decided to post a pic of what I really look like :thumbup: Cool Dude huh!

I would also like to thank you for all your prayers and good wishes. That is what has kept me so strong and given me the courage to keep fighting. Thank you also for praying for my family. My mommies both cry everytime the read all the nice messages. I keep hearing what a lucky boy and how brave i am. All I know is that God's hand was with me all along. My mommies mommie always reminds us that God's Favor Is Always With Us.
I kept reminding myself rememeber what mommie said on way to emergency room "You are ok brave little boy you are a fighter - No weapon formed against you shall prosper you are more then a conqueror. You are going to be fine because God's favor is upon you" Thank you mommie for always teaching us what a Wonderful God We Have!

ok i'm getting a little tired now. Mommie will probably be sending you my next update. Love you very much here's some kisses for you my mouth is still little sore so I can only send you 1 for now lick...

Deeogi, you are indeed a Cool Dude....with and without hair! :) You have inspired all of us with your strength and you are so so lucky to have such a wonderful and loving family that is helping you throughout all of this.

Bless your heart Deeogi, such a sweet update, I am in tears. You are one very blessed baby to have 2 loving mommies, and especially ones that believe in God and the power of prayer and miracles. I will continue to remember you and your mommies in my prayers. I love your cool dude picture, but it is your huge heart that makes you so special. You look like my beautiful Tessie, maybe she can invite you to the Valentine Ball next year because I am sure you will feel like having a party by then.

Deeogi, your little letter made me cry. :( You are such a brave little boy with so much faith in our God. God will put his healing hands on you and make you stronger each day as I feel you had to have had a guardian angel by your side. Your picture you posted is a picture of a strong gorgeous boy. I had to hold my two girls back. ;) You will once again look like you did in that picture. But rest assure that hair don't make a person beautiful. It is what is on the inside that shows how truly beautiful a person or animal is. I can tell that you are truly beautiful on the inside and out. You keep fighting and be brave and strong.
