Thor's Human Donating Member | Shout out to yorkies in New York(ie)! Hey, everyone. I'm going to New York for work for a few months, and of course, I couldn't bear to be away from Thor for that long. He's coming with me! I'm just wondering if Manhannites here have any advice for me. I lived in NY for a long time, but never with a dog. I have a emergency vet rec, just in case, and a couple leads on doggy daycares. I have always wanted to take Thor to Central Park. I can close my eyes and see him there at dusk, when all the fire flies come out. Any general tips? Good areas in CP, or other parks? Fun yorkie meetups? Doggie couture stores? Hit me with anything you got.

| I loved taking mine for walks in Central Park! I also really loved walking mine in riverside park, right along the water- it is so beautiful and I have some amazing photos of them there. www.amcny.org- Is this the ER vet rec you have? They are the absolute best! My favorite store: The New York Dog Shop, Puppia harness, dog clothing, toys, beds, bags, collars I get emails from a yorkie meetup group- I would be happy to forward them to you over the next few months if anything comes through. Basically you should just enjoy taking Thor with you as many places as possible- he will be welcomed in stores- Macy's, Bloomingdales, etc- there are many restuarants you can eat outside at with him. Enjoy!

| Have a ton of FUN! I have always wanted to take Jackson to NYC. Every time I go I see so many doggies and it makes me sad that I haven't brought Jackson yet.
