| Yorkie puppy auctioned off even before he can leave his mother Can you believe it? The poor little guy must have been scared to death! Am I the only one who would be upset by this? |

| I tried to google and link it, but don't know how, but was totally appalled at the number of yorkie puppy auction stories on the internet. So I am much more upset. This puppy was only 8 weeks old and had to return to the mother after the AUCTION. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Was this the story about Ozzy Osbourne & the 10k Yorkie? I've got a problem with animals (not just Yorkies) being used as auction prizes. It pus them on par with a gift basket.

| yes, do you have the link? I put "Yorkie Puppy Auctioned" in Google search and there are many, many, many search results. Wonder how certain persons would like to be held up before a crowd and be auctioned off? If they want to raise money, auction themselves off! |

| Here it is: Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne Pay $10,000 for a Yorkie : People.com It says the yorkie puppy is a rescue. I wonder what they mean by that exactly since auctioning off a dog doesn't seem to fit with the M.O. of a reputable rescue.

| A while back someone posted here about a school auctioning a YT puppy to be auctioned off for a team fundraiser. Many of us emailed the lady directly and received some unfriendly emails in return. Sadly, this thing happens and has happened right here in my own school district with a lab puppy. It makes me disgusted and so sad for living creatures to be put at the same level as a gift basket or gift certificate. |

| Thanks for that link, I didn't see it and have been stewing about this for a few days. Not angry with the Ozbournes, as I feel the dog gets a wonderful home. BUUUUUTTTTTTT I noticed Sharon's hesitation when the other girls on "The Talk" asked her about taking it home and she said it had to go back to............... WHY WOULD SHE HESITATE, and not say right then about rescue? |
