| I think Pnut is CRAZY! Some of you know I am dog watching 2 females yorkies, who I have previously watched. Well Pnut is kinda a strange dog, He doesnt really like the fact that the girls are here, I think he " tollerates" it. He WILL NOT lay with me when they are laying on me, or touching me for that matter. I have tried and he will get away from me and walk away. He is never mean to them, doesnt fight with them or anything like that. I was laying here, Dalilah was on top of the couch pillow behind me, Lorilah had just jumped off the couch, I saw that he was looking at me so I picked him up to snuggle with me. Well he sniffed the blanket ( of course it smells like them, they have been laying on it since they been here) and looked at me all strange and jumped down. I told him he was crazy and I picked him up and tried to set him down. He did the "garfied arm out" thing and started shaking! I made him lay on me, I had to physicaly push him down and hold him, if I had let him go he would have ran away, he was just shaking and looking at me like I hit him or something. I was talking to him and saying Mommy loves you and I was kissing him and giving him love. He finally stopped shaking and I tried to relocate him to my side, and he didnt want to lay down and he jumped off the couch I am so confused, its like the blanket had a germ on it or like a spider! He was acting crazy and I dont understand it. Is this normal?? LOL

| Bump! Don't have advice for you. I have a singleton who also refuses to share. I haven't put him in a similar situation yet.

| I think this is normal. My mom's cocker spaniel was sort of like that too. They can be possesive. But dogs are really smart and have personalities of their own. When my mom would come and visit me she would board her. When she got back my mom's dog would ignore her and even snob her for the first couple of days. She even did something she NEVER does.....leaving a "treat" for my mom to clean up by the front door. lol Roni~ |
