again.. we are all good people. I agree about the "tone" in the written word being hard to see.. and I think we do misunderstand a lot. But... and I am going to put myself out there... if someone makes a negative comment to or about someone else if we don't "wag back" we are agreeing with the negative. I admire that many have defended the op.. |

Thank you to the people who supported me on this thread, you obviously have read all my posts and realize that I made a mistake by saying I would have to be more sneakier, you also obviously read the thread where I said I would stand outside where there was food and No pets allowed stores. I have learned a tough lesson. Once again, I will not take my pup in stores where they are not allowed! I do appreciate everyones opinion, however I also do feel some people on here are rude. with that being said, I am new to this forum, and will never ever post a new thread again! Too much Drama over a simple statement. Thanks again for all of you who did understand that I meant no harm, and for those of you who dwell on this.....move on....enjoy your furbaby, and work on teaching instead of insulting. :) I will go back to google for learning. Thats how I found this forum in the first place. |
Speaking just for myself, I don't condone rule breaking, name calling, "attacks" or even harsh criticism. I do, though, think there's definitely a place for "good old-fashioned _itching" about a topic in general, and "highly spirited" discussions. :D. There's a difference, and it IS sometimes hard to tell with the written word. I guess I try to stop and think if I would want someone saying that to me, how it might make me feel, and even if it could be misinterpreted. Well, usually. Sometimes I fail, :(, miserably. One of my fears is hurting someone's feelings or insulting them without meaning to, and then never knowing I did. Ya'll just let me know if that happens...I would want to set things right. Oooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :note: Namaste and :hearts33: ;) |
I myself am a rule breaking fool..... I recently ripped all the tags off my mattresses AND the pillows!! Yeah, what now???:p |

Shame on you. I'm going to call the pillow police on you! |

Oh come on, don't leave, stick around. You'll learn more here about your yorkie than any place else on the internet. I can also teach you how to use the ignore button. I need to work on mine anyway! :animal-pa |

But like you said, with the written word only to go on, feelings get hurt. What I was trying to say, hey... we are good people... we all have our moments to be misunderstood. I just don't like when someone says ..never.. like I would NEVER do that, or it would NEVER happen to me. who knows what will happen!! I know I have been told my my daughters I can get too intense in what I think is right or wrong .. I don't mean to and have to calm myself down. One of the things I am passionate about is respect and caring for others. That is what I want to be remembered for - working on it:).. and my values.:) and.... that I was a good..no great yorkie mom.. and my sense of humor:eek: |
:eyeballpc And to think I was going to buy a new Drama/Romance novel! Nah, I'll just read some YT threads! Cheers! :2popkorn: |

And to be brutally honest right now, I think the only one who was rude on this thread was the OP. JMO. Ok- go ahead and blast me for that one. I've got my freshly washed big girl panties on and I can take it ;) |

:mad::mad: You meanie! :p I kid, I know you're about as sensative as steel wool. That's what we love about ya! On that note, people have opinions, hence JMO, IMO, MHO whatever. All end in opinion. The beauty of an open forum and thread is that people will post how the feel and you (as in the poster or any other poster) are basically opening yourself to helpful advice and constructive criticism. Some people are out to be just rude, but hey, we all come across @$$holes in everyday life, so why are we surprised that we'd run into them on an online thread as well? With that being said, I agree people are too sensative. What it basically comes down to is trying not to get your knickers in a twist over black and white text on a screen. |

:thumbup: The thumbs up are double for this post. First because I agree with you totally that those who hold to their convictions should not be called rude or insensitive and that sometimes the direct posters are a little quiet for fear of being charged with the crimes of Rude and Insensitive by the Unofficial Polite Police. The second thumbs up is for the freshly washed panties - always a priority! |
