| Hello, Soon to be New Yorkie Mother Hello there I am excited to become a Yorkie mommy again. I had a beautiful male yorkie that loved to follow me everywhere and was the perfect look, temperament, and personality. 3 Years ago someone stole him, it devastated me. I have finally stopped crying over my precious baby and think I am ready to be a mommy again. I have been ghosting this site for about 6 months now...while on the search for a perfect baby boy yorkie who is super cute and going to be small but doesn't remind me of my little boy. I travel a lot and I miss having my little travel companion I didn't know about YT before and I am so glad to find this site! It definitely contains every bit of info I need to prepare for my new kid. |

| So sorry to hear about your previous Yorkie. Congratulations on becoming a Yorkie mom again. Looking forward to seeing photos of your new baby. I was talking to a friend and fellow dog lover at work on Friday and we both agreed that we should all get pup-ternity leave when we get new babies. |

I guess because I know he IS alive SOMEWHERE out there with someone who I don't know if they are treating him good or if he is being bred or something (he wasn't fixed because his breeder had asked if she could possibly breed him later on, and I agreed) - it is even a bit harder for me then him actually passing. As I said, I've been looking for 6 months, and it may take 6 months more but the fact that I am looking and actually getting excited and preparing is a great feeling. I am hopefully going to get one in September because I am taking two int'l trips in August and want to wait so I can have 100%time and attention to the new puppy. I I am just glad I have a place with folks who actually understand where I am coming from, my non-pet owning co-workers look at me crazy when I tell them for 3 years I've been mourning my stolen yorkie. That not that long ago, I would wake up in the morning I cry because he used to be the one waking me up.... (sorry for the long post and thanks for anyone who read it | |
