| ![]() I felt this bump on the inside of Uni's thigh. At first I thought it was a nipple, then I thought hmmm it's kind of in an off place. I took a look and looks like a blackhead, it's the size of a flea. It's not perfectly circular. I also noticed on on her elbow, but it is skin colored and perfectly round. That one I've noticed for a while and have been keeping an eye on it, I don't think it's gotten any bigger yet. Have you ever found anything like this before? Blackheads don't go away on their own do they? How did she get it in the first place? I don't think it's been there long, since I always flip her on her back to give belly rubs and also brush her chest, and she doesn't have hardly any hair on the inside of her thighs. So I'm thinking I have noticed it right away. Should I have the vet remove it?

| ![]() Schnauzers sometimes have what they call schnauzer bumps that look simular to that. I would just keep an eye on it and if it did grow any have it took off. I have had several took off my schnauzers down thru the years and they have always been benign. I think they worry the owners more than the dog. lol!!! |

| ![]() Were they black or skin colored? We had one taken off her head when she got her spay and that was skin colored, and they sent it out to be tested and it was nothing. This one is black, like a flea decided to bury himself there! I don't think she's been biting at it as far as I've noticed.

| ![]() They are usually always black. I have never seen any on my yorkies. Schnauzers are known for them. The ones I had took off were usually located where I was afraid they would bump them and make them bleed. My male (Max, 1993-2007) had one on the front of his leg. I was afraid of hitting one when I clipped them too. I really don't think its anything to worry about. Just have your vet look at it. Its kinda located at a bad place too, that it probably wouldn't hurt to have it took off. |

| ![]() Kaji had what I thought were pimples on his back and on his butt. Turns out, they're some sort of gland. He might get them looked at during his annual checkup in a few weeks. I don't know if it looks like the one Uni has. Kaji is so hairy I can't always find them.

| ![]() It looks like it may be a clogged hair folical. Some CO might help it. And warm compresses. Or the vet if it doesn't clear up or gets worse.

| ![]() My Lizzie has one on her back. Vet has checked it out and it's ok. The thing with removing it, they can sometimes come back.

| ![]() That's what I heard also. Or wait until there are several and have them all taken out at once. I want them to do it with a biopsy punch so they don't have to put her under again.

| ![]() My little boy Rocky had one on his back and when I had him neutered, I just said, remove it, and clean his teeth while at it. It wasn't anything that Had to be removed, but I felt it on his back when I would pet him, so while he was under I had it all done at the same time. He's fine now, and you can barely tell there was anything there. ![]()
