You have been a good friend to her by telling her the truth! :) | I absolutely agree. You have been a good friend to her.
Real friends can and do disagree sometimes, but they continue to respect to each other. Some things are personal beliefs or ideas. There is a difference between opinion and fact. I may think Yorkies make better pets than fish. That is the way I feel. If you are a fish lover you may think I am wrong. If we were friends and I was going to set up an aqurium I would listen carefully when you told me about water PH. If you were going to get a Yorkie, you may ask for my advice. If a friend has more experience, information, or knowledge about something ,we should listen and learn. Some people just tune out things they don't want to hear or have the attitude, oh that won't happen to me. So they keep smoking, driving fast, buying from puppy mills and bad breeders.
My grandmother (was way nicer than me) said, 'People make mistakes. If they come back to you, don't say I told you so, instead ask, How can I help ? If they say they are sorry, REALLY forgive and forget about it. ' |
