| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Sorry, but I don't get what got you in a huff. Most people don't know anything about Parti's or Biewers. To call them stupid seems a bit rude. If you want to promote the parti lines, it would seem to me to be more effective to educate someone than to tell them they shouldn't speak about something they are ignorant about. Just sayin...

| I had no idea what a Parti was until learning about them on YorkieTalk. I have yet to see one in person, and am not sure if I did that I would be exactly sure what it was. The pictures I have seen of them are beautiful. That being said, I think it is extremely rude to be a know it all and come off as an expert on canine breeds and challenge any dog owner about "what or why" their beloved dog is. Nothing good comes out of those confrontations. People need to use some basic manners and just shut up sometimes. It is crazy to think that people have to carry around pet ID, registration, and documentation to answer the question "what kind of dog is it".

| No doubt this person was rude. I am sorry they hurt your feelings. I think we can all be snobs about our dogs. For years I have tried to breed my Yorkies to achieve the AKC standard. I want them to be healthy, of good temperament and beautiful. Biewers and Parti do not meet the AKC standard for Yorkshire Terriers. I sincerely respect the forming of new clubs dedicated to perfecting the beautiful Biewers and Party Yorkies. There were no pure breed dogs, until breeders selectively mated their dogs. I am always willing to learn new things, from others with more experience and knowledge. |

| This was a year ago and the dog weighed 45 pounds according to the owner. It was not registered, and in all honesty, was probably a Heinz 57 dog. Quote:
