Remy Insulted on the streets of Chicago!!
 

As we were walking my little Remy was called...

a Gerbil .. "omg, she is walking a Gerbil!!"
a rat
and Ridiculous-- that dog is ridiculous!!!

Got to love it, I though Miami-ans were rude!!

Well how rude can people be....that was not nice at all. Remy is a doll and they were just jealous!!!

I would have said..... "that's funny, I could have swore I out the collar and leash on the dog and not you"

what amazed me... is they said it where I could hear it. I do understand we all have our opinions... but that was just hurtful !!!

It is quit funny in a way.... !! Odd thou that they couldn't figure out that it is a DOG .. a very cute...little doggy!

Awww, I agree - there probably is a little jealousy - just too cute for words!!

My DH and I get a lot of kidding from some of my male family members... such as calling Zoey a rat sized doggie and giving my DH a hard time about having such a small dog. They happen to have large labs and a large german shepard. All beautiful and we truly are an animal loving family. I kidd right back and reply that DH doesn't need a large dog in order to feel more a man like others do! Furthermore, when my dad shared that sometimes he can barely get all of Godiva's poop (large choc lab that is almost like a horse) in one of the doggie poo bags.. I laugh and describe my two finger action between tissue for Zoey's clean-up :p ;) :D

I'm really surprised at people nowadays. We were in the line at mcdonalds and the 2 women behind us were clearly talking about my stepsister (who is 14 and going through her experimental stage) and her hair color (purple and black and orange) and just really saying some tacky and hurtful things.

I waited until they were sitting down and we moved over to the table next to theirs and I just commented really loud "can you believe that lady in the red shirt? " And started picking them both apart. They got up and moved! Before we left I stopped by their table and told them that they really should be more careful what they say because they never know what it will do to the person who hears. I then told them that my sister had just recently been in a psychiatric hospital for depression, that she is a self mutilator and had attempted suicide and that their words were not building her up, but tearing her down even further. (all that is true- I didn't make it up). They apologized to me and said they didn't know.

I am a speak your mind kind of person, but never at anyone else's expense and if I even think I hurt your feelings, I will come to you and apologize.

I get crap from "big dog" owners all the time. When I told my "friend" that I had a yorkie she said to me: "oh you mean those things you drag on a leash?" People are just absolutely ridiculous sometimes. I'm from Miami so I completely understand what you mean...I used to think that the people there were absolutely the worst and then I moved away and guess what? People are STILL mean! I completely understand that the comments were hurtful toward you but...you know and we know your dog is beautiful. Some people just have a bad attitude and they will try and bring you down just to make themselves feel better.

Whenever we take Ella out - she is called a little rat/ guinea pig / ferret you name it because she is so little. Most people ask if she is real - they think she is a stuffed animal!!

Is her name Ella Joy? Allie's full name is Allison Joy....

Don't mind ignorant people , they aren't worth your time. When I was a kid and went to the drive in movie theatre with my parents and my puppy at the time ( 5 years ago) people called him a big rat, it made me angry at first but it really is funny to me because I could care less about what ignorant people think, I know that yorkies are the cutest dogs!

I'm sorry your feelings were hurt. What an awful person to say such a thing and so blatantly rude. She is lacking in the head if she can't she Remy is a dog...a gorgeous little girlie!

Don't let her words bother you one more moment, it's her loss.

Im sorry!! People are very rude! but you know what they are the ones missing out on such a beauiful breed!! If that was me though I would have said something back...

Acouple days ago on 4th of july i had a family over well his daughter pulls momos tail and I know my baby is not so kid friendly i told everyone that and so when the daughter was pulling his tail he cried and i told her stop and grabbed momo later on when i was in side she came in and did it again but this time he snaped at her and my cousin actually told me ur lucky ur in here or i would have kicked ur mutt! now i got mad and me and him actually exchanged some words they left and i am glad.

any person who cant respect me and my family can be gone i dont need them in my life!!!
