Its kind of like highschool. Kids will say hateful things to someone else that isnt exactly the same,thinking that it makes them bigger somehow. When in truth it makes them VERY small minded (pea brained). So look on those that are cruel with their comments and see them with a tiny pea in their head for a brain. I feel sorry for those that think it necessary to try to steal or dumb down someone elses joy,just because it isn't their joy.

I think some people think of dogs as they would like to think of themselves. Like the people who buy pit bulls or some other big breed of dog because they want to look tough. Some people buy big trucks because they make them feel a certain way. Since our dogs are small some types of people think of us as small and i guess in some way that makes them feel superior enough to say rude things to us. To me it just shows how small their minds are. I don't need a big dog to make me feel secure about myself. My dog does not represent me. My dog is my companion and it's none of their business what size dog I prefer. I just feel sorry for the big dogs that have to live with small minded people.
| very good points. My dd get mad at me because they say I should not "make" my dh (their dad) walk a dog in a pink dress. They said I "took his man card away" My dh says, why not? I love her, she is cute, and it doesn't change what I am. I think that shows him more of a man!! Besides, he takes her away from me to carry or walk- I don't make him!!!
You know, I don't care if people don't like my dog, or make fun. But how rude to make comments to my face on a busy public street!! Good think I don't carry a gun and have a quick temper!! just kidding-- sort of |
