What happened to the OP? |

I just think the subject is so personal and perhaps painful for some people... I always say you should not talk about 1.) religion 2.) politics 3.) how a mother raises her children now I am going to add... 4.) how a "mother" raises her dogs :D:) |
I had a big long (practically essay) written, but in my better judgment I decided against posting it. I will just settle for everyone needs to think about and RE-READ what they say because some of the things being posted here were offensive (and not just one poster). On another note: It is a pretty sensitive subject, love. It cannot be judged or measured or determined by others. You cannot determine if someone's love for anything is lesser than your love for something. It isn't fair to make other people feel poorly and lesser for not feeling "that special bond" with a child. To someone else, there may be "that special bond" with a pup. Who are we to say they cannot possibly feel that way and are crazy for it? Only they know how they feel. |
Also wondering where the op is. I guess her husband was right ...she is a smart a$$. She gave the girl a wise a$$ answer when she was told that she couldn't have the dog in there. That is the topic of this thread. I just feel it is just not called for. If it is not allowed than it is not allowed..period end of story. Take the dog out! |

It is not just because of food at a store that keeps businesses from allowing pets its allergies. If you could bring your dog in then someone with a cat would have to be let in and look at how many people are allergic to cats |

This post is classic. What irony. |

Haha me too!!! Don't get the humor. Thought it was just me! |
My b/f and I love our little Ozzy, and we like to take him places with us, but we would never consider taking him into any store with food in it (Wal-mart, etc). I also don't think a dog has to go everywhere with you. Sometimes, just like with kids, you need some time apart. When we're home, Ozzy commands our attention almost all the time. Sometimes I want a break! |
