Thank you, thank you, thank you! Just ordered 2 for $6.20 and no s/h costs... EXCELLENT Deal :D |
Anyone actually got theirs yet? I got an email saying it shipped....Supposed to be here tomorrow! |
Got mine! Fits good and Peek a Boo seems more comfortable in it than the other one I have. It's not as thick, so it may not keep him afloat for real long... I'll have to test it and see. My main use is to have something on him if he should fall or jump in the water that keeps him afloat until I can get to him, so I think this fits the bill! His old one is a bit bulky and restrictive. I think I may order more! There is no foam under the front buckle, but he didn't cough once while wearing it. A fix would be to add a connecting strap or ribbon from the front strap to the first strap under the fron legs. He tends to cough a bit, I thought he had CT at one point, but this vest didn't bother him at all. The strap sits midway on his chest and doesn't touch his throat. My camera batteries are dead, sorry. |
They only have 3XS (under 5 pounds) left on both sites!:( |
This one is hysterical! (though way outta my price range!) Killa Whale Life Jacket With A Fin | US Coast Guard approved neoprene life vests, life jackets and swim assist vests for kids and children |
I just ordered last night and received an email this morning, stating that they have been extremely popular ;), and are unable to fulfill my order immediately. They expect to have more in two weeks and I can expect my order to ship then. I have no problem with this, considering my significant savings and since I do not have a definite need but wanted to have them on hand, in case. Quote:

1 Attachment(s) ZoE's life vest arrived today so, of course, we had to try it on. It is very thin. I don't know that it would float her, but hopefully it aids in floatation and I like the bright colour. |
It looks good on ZoE! It looks very sleek. I hope it works as good as it looks! |
Here is a video I posted of my two swimming wearing the life jackets.... As you can see they are not very fond of the idea of being in the pool.... YouTube - ‪Swimming‬‏ I agree that the life jackets are very thin. My two weight 5 and 6 pounds. Its hard to tell if the life jacket actually helps or not. I may do a little experimentation with some five pound objects lying around and see what happens when they are wrapped in the jacket. |

Do let us know the result!! :) I don't have a pool, otherwise, I'd try it :p Here's pictures of Carmel and Emma wearing it. I picked them up too with it, but they didn't seem to like that. lol Here's some pictures. Please excuse their messy look, we just got back from the park :p |
I got mine too, I ordered 3xs and 2xs.. They do seem to run small, I would think that by the time Kizzie was 4-5lbs she would need the 2xs but maybe I'm wrong.. I hate the fabric coloring on these, but I plan on taking an old swim suit and sewing it over the top like a cover to make it prettier, this is just so we can hang at the lake or on the boat with Kizzie wearing it just in case. |
I got mine for Noah today. It is thin, but he only weighs 1.4 pounds. I haven't tried it on him yet but we shall see how well it works Saturday. We are going to a pool party and the pups were invited. (I didn't buy Allie one because she already has one I got from petsmart after she decided to jump off a boat into the ocean on our vacation) I have an extra as a backup if this one isnt too great. |
