| I saw her photo...she sure looks healthy...and if she is blind in one eye, that is minor...I still wish the rescue would have her check out before adoption...never heard of one who did not... |

| Awww She is so cute!! I adopted Oliver in January and he is now 7 years old and its the best thing I've ever done! You would never guess he is a little older.. my nieces call him "prancer" bc he loves to prance when he walks/runs. I totally agree.. these dogs know when you have saved them and they are forever loyal. Good luck and please keep us posted!

| I got my two boys from Craigslist. My groomer and vet agree that it was more of a rescue. I love both of them and have never regretted getting either one of them. They were both adults when they came to me. I even have one that smiles at me like the dog in the denture commercial every time I walk in the door! |

| Harley is absolutely beautiful...she won't be there for long. We adopted Ian last year, and I also found him on petfinders. I was notified that a dog met my requirements, and within two hours of him being on that site, I called. I was the first caller (with my app. submitted), and there were four others. Because of me having had a yorkie, Prince, and after speaking with Prince's vet, they felt that we were the best suited. Thank God!! We brought Ian home three days after his pic was posted. His previous family really loved him, and it shows. I am so grateful that we adopted him. He is so perfect for us, that we believe that Prince let us to him. Best of luck with you decision.

| I say get them BOTH.. a puppy can sure put the puppy spirit in an older dog. my youngest boy and the oldest girl are the ones who get along the best of all.,.. they are inseperable

| I always feel so bad for the animals whose owners have died or had to go into nursing homes. Any homeless animal is sad but that really pulls on my heart because they have no understanding of what happened to their loved one. I hope someone will help that little dog. |

| Update on Harley. She has been adopted, but not by me. By the time I was ready to adopt her, after I finished moving, I checked with the rescue and she had already been adopted. I was a bit sad, because I did want her, but I'm sure she is in a good home, the people that run the shelter are really good people, and I'm sure they found her a really nice home. So, I guess I'm looking for a puppy now... still searching on petfinder... but there aren't any close. |
