The java script window shows up.

Then a box with question comes up, click on Yes or Run
a second box will come up asking you about blocking blah blah, Click NO... very important ... Answer NO otherwise you will block access.

Close your browser and start a new session or it won't work because it remembers your previous answer. Copy http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/javachat.php ... close browser, Start new browser session, enter http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/javachat.php

wait for java window... answer Run or Yes
Second window........ answer NO

The problem is if you keep trying and have inadvertently answered YES to the second question, it will not work because your browser remembers you told it to block access to IRC Chat. So, that is why you have to close your browser an start again.

I did it wrong tis how I realized it.

Also, chat comes up in a new tab, so you don't need to leave yorkietalk, you can go back and forth. The chat doesn't seem to log you out until you do. So, you can go back and forth.

I keep doing that and then I get the first box and I hit run and I never get anything else. It just says connecting and then says cant connect. Ugh....oh well guess I will have to wait till the thread

Do you have Java on your computer?

If you have IE9 and are trying it, it may not work (hangs on first window). It won't on my laptop. I uninstalled IE9 and it reverted to IE8 and the second window came up.

BUT,.... it does work in the latest version of Firefox without a hitch. So, if you have firefox, it will work.

tabs are easy... they are just another window and you can go back and forth between them. At the top of your browser are little tabs for each window you open.
