| What can I give him before he flies? My little love hasnt flown in 2 years! Partly because he would bark his brains out on the flight. Is there anything i can give him, before the flight, to calm his nerves? I havent asked the vet yet, but wanted to see if anyone here had any similar situations. thanks !! |

| Perhaps a thunder jacket would work, I think they are supposed to be good for anxiety/nerves! My dog doesn't have one, because she thankfully travels & handles storms well, but I have heard they are great! Hope this helps =) |

| I use rescue remedy as well before flights, but only the one formulated specifically for pets and that has the dosage on it, I think it is 4 drops.

| I've flown alot with a yorkie and have never medicated before flights. My last yorkie, Chelsea, was a very anxious pup and she did great on flights and just slept. I don't know if its the vibration of the plane or hum of the engines, but she slept sounder on the plane than she ever did at our destination.
