| Coat change This question may have been answered somewhere on here before and if so I am sorry. What age does their coats start to change. I just love looking at the pictures of those of you who have adult dogs. They are all so sweet!! I am wondering what Chachi will look like.

| My experience is my dogs coat change started at 5 to 6 months......some silver showing thru at the points.....top of head, silvering around the gold/tan coloring at the base of the legs. This is only my experience with my light dogs. My dogs who are dark blue/black just didnt show much of a change at all. The only dog who really didnt fit was my stud, His dad is very glossy light blue so when the top of my Dukes head started to change I assumed he was going to change to a silvery color too but at 14 months he is very black. The silvering at the top of his head turn a very light tan where his face ahs stayed a golden color. It started as an almost white coloring.....leave it to Duke to be different! |

| I can see the silver on Tia's head already I'm not sure if that means she's changing or not, but it's too cute
