| Update on Dudley Went to the vet this morning. I was sooo tired from going to the emergancy room with him last nite I thought I would die. But, at least we know what wrong with our baby. Toncillitus! (sp.?) He is on a couple of prescription and still won't eat. She said his little throat was red and probably that little raw hide irratated it. I never buy those things, but they don't like the CEW through the vet, and they were the crunchie rawhide. Rawhide is going to be outlawed in our home from now on too. That was just too scary thinking he was choking. He is sleeping now, we are both tired from an all nighter. I stayed up watching him all night so maybe tonite I can get some rest. Maybe he will eat something afterwhile. |

| I'm so sorry, Sandy. I have been so busy with work and have had little time here. This is the first I am hearing about this. I hope you and Dudley feel much better after this ordeal. You and your family are always in my prayers.

| Aw! Poor baby! Did the vet tell you to feed him anything special? I know with mine when they have any mouth/tooth problems I give them Chicken Baby food, so they don't have to chew and it's soothing going down.... sometimes helps to stimulate their appetite..

| So happy they know what's going on with your baby. P.S. Dudley is an awesome name for a Yorkie.

| The vet just said to watch and make sure he is drinking and going to potty. SHe said to offer him alittle food several times a day. His little throat is probably sore and he just doesn't want to eat. I don't know why the ER vet didn't notice how red his throat was. I glad it wasn't an ulcer. |

| Tonite he finally eat about 2tbsp. of food. I was just glad to see him eat something. He was playing earlier and even got to go out and chase the rabbit in our backyard thats bigger than he is. He and Kayla had a ball. THat little rabbit, a cottontail I think, has been out there everynight for a while now. Dudley loves to look out the windows and bark at it. It feels so good when they are feeling better. Also, thanks for the compliment on his name. He is a little sweetie. Two dogs like to have got in a fight at the vets this morning. One was just screaming. My vet said she thought it was just scared instead of hurt. Dudley was just shaking. It scared him so bad. Poor little thing. He has had a rough time of it the past couple of days. |
