I have a small & a large Alex. The small is what I started with and my thinking was the small is fine for winter as she just snuggles in a ball & sleeps, but I thought the large would be less stuffy and better for summer as she has more room. Both work fine.

I think bag size depends more on the size of your dog than the weight. ZoE is no "teacup" and has turned out to be pretty long & tall, so if I were to do it over, I'd buy both in large. In fact, I'll probably be replacing my small black Alex with a large before long & selling the small.

Thor is 5 pnds and a small was just to snuggly for him. I just got it last night and I'm shipping back today. I would recommend a lg so they have a little bit of room. I tend to agree that weight is not the only factor.

When I do decide to purchase, I think I'll order the small first to see how it does and if it doesn't work it's still okay to return and ship it back. Troy is 4.5 pounds but has a small stature and people often mistake him for "teacup". (I correct people when they say he's a teacup, by the way) Thanks for the opinions.

I can tell you I made a huge mistake by not ordering from Ryan. I ordered in FEBRUARY (!!!) and still haven't gotten it. I wish I'd ordered from Ryan because at least I would know that I was being treated well. I wanted a Black Patent Alex Luxe in small, which was supposed to arrive in April...nothing! And no communication for the seller. I FINALLY reached him and now it's supposed to be in late June.

I fear more trouble down the road!

UGH!! Are you able to Cancel that order??

Most all of the side venders deal with Kwigy-Bo directly. I am sure Kwigy-Bo fills their own pre-order tickets first and then will fill them for the side merchants who deal with them. You can get an estimate of when they are planning to be back in stock and sent, on their website, but those dates seem, to change..... as it did, for me.

They REALLY need to get on it and really make them in major mass production.

Like you said though, at least with Ryan you would definitely be treated
well, you get the Best Price out there [according to My research...] and if you just shoot him an email asking for a status, or whatever, he will respond pretty much, immediately.

Ryan is excellent to work with. Maybe you can cancel the order. You would probably save money in the long run! Ryan is way cheaper than any of the other places in my opinion. And provides excellent customer service!!

Okay, I have the question about the bags. The window panels on the side, can then be up so that the furbab can stick his head out instead of the purse having to be open?

Wow, that sounds really akward when I read it out loud, but I just don't want to have my purse open just for him to stick his head out.

Are you talking about the mesh? The flaps can be up but no the head will be out. I think this is what you are meaning?
