| regular puppy food vs. small breed puppy food what is the differnece? i feel like if i get the regular puppy food, it will make hershey grow bigger than he would likely be even though i know that probably won't be the case. haha im plannig on getting this for hershey right now.. but should i just get him a small breed puppy food from some other company? because solid gold doesnt' seem to offer a small breed puppy food. thanks alot! | I prefer small breed puppy food...mainly because the kibble is sooooooo much smaller and easier for the little ones to chew....... also, small breed puppy food is more specific to the nutritinal needs of a puppy which will not grow very large.....a larger breed of dog has specific concerns for joints and regulated growth for over a year. |

| My dogs prefer the small kibble even as adults. I've bought the large kibble by mistake and they didn't like it so I ended up giving it away. It's hard for them to eat. |
