![]() that's simply awful! poor dog. but glad they gave her a chance to keep going. my shredder is in a gated off room that the dogs can't get into and i think it's always off or unplugged too. we'll be very careful though! thanks Nancy.

![]() Be careful with treadmills too. A little over 2 years ago, I fell and caught my hand in the track with it still going. I'll just say it wasn't pretty so that I won't gross everyone out. I couldn't use my hand for about 6 months and still have permanent damage. The doctor said he had heard of people getting scalped when their hair got caught in a treadmill. I never let any of my dogs in the room with our fitness equipment. I hate to think what it could do to a little paw or tail. Thanks for the tip about paper shredders. I would have never even thought about that being a hazard for a dog.

![]() We have had kids in our house so long that the shredder stays on a floor where the animals aren't allowed to go and it stays turned off unless in use. They are just scary things!!
