| Just thought you all would like to know.... Kaji has been clearing the room the last couple of days with his toots. Who knew watermelon can make a pup gassy? He seems to really only let em' rip when he's sleeping. I've been giving everyone at home toot reports, and no one cares.

| Who knew? He could have cheese (in moderation of course) and have no ill effect. I think he might have had some watermelon today. He's asleep next to me right now tooting away. Ugh....

| Is watermelon known to be a toot causing food in pups? ZoE's never had any, but I saw watermelons at the farmer's market this weekend and thought about buying one, but the line at that stall was way too long, so we bought strawberries instead.

| I don't know. I've given him watermelon before, in small, teeny quantities and he never had the toots. My mom has been giving him lots and lots of watermelon and a few hours later, he gets the toots. He eats most fruits and veggies that aren't on the no-no list. He usually does fine.

| That's funny. Yorkies are fairly tiny, yet they can definitely clear a room. Awe, they don't mean it.

| I have been giving Jada and Bogie little bits of watermelon, but no toots here. Jada just toots when she barks and it is usually when she is standing next to me on the couch It is bark..toot...bark...toot. Maybe Kaji is just eating too much watermelon??

| I know exactly what you mean! I wonder how in the world that a 5 lb. Yorkie can emit such a smell ... Toto can and does. She also loves watermelon and says to tell Kaji to just keep up the good work!

| Watermelon will not be on the Spice Boys menu! What about the sugar content of it? |

| Rory goes insane for watermelon! She actually had a bunch last night, but we haven't noticed that "issue" from it. Too many frozen green beans though... We are trying to get Rory to hydrate more in general, and the vet suggested the watermelon since it is a very water-rich food.
