☺Farrah☺ Donating Member | ![]() Welcome to YT! When I got my first Yorkie, I asked the breeder if I should get 2 at the same time. She said she would not sell me two at once. Because the difficulty in training them. She said if you don't physically see who made the mistake, you cannot correct the behavior. It would be difficult to figure out who did what, when. So, with that stated, I did not get 2 but have to say it is not impossible, just hard work and patience. Now, when my yorkie turned 15mos old, I got a standard size goldendoodle pup. She came to me just over 6 lbs. I believe the doodle helped the yorkie to housetrain. The 12 mos prior to the doodle were the most trying times for me. People thought I was crazy to get another dog with the yorkie not yet housebroken. She is still challenging but I have finally got her to not mark in the house and to wait to "go" outside. And figured out the overnight bathroom issue as well. Anyway, these 2 are inseparable. And the goldendoodle is huge! So it is very funny walking the 2. They chew on either end of the same bully stick. LOL So Best of luck to you. I think you will be happy in the end!

| ![]() My neighbor took two of my puppies (both boys) and they have helped each other in learning to use pee-pad, climb, sit, stay, etc. One is her "hubby's" and one is hers. They were both 12 weeks old when she took them. I would think they would keep each other company, and sleep better at night.

| ![]() That's what sick days are for ![]() Why are you getting them from two different moms? Did you just like their personalities? Good luck, it'll be an adventure, but it'll be one you'll be able to look back on and be proud of yourself for ![]() |

| ![]() After spending several hours on two different occasions with the puppies and watching them interact, I decided these were the two for me. They have the best little personalities - and I know I have not seen anything yet! I can't wait to watch them develop and grow. Like all Yorkies, they seem to have no fear and have no clue that they are "little" dogs. |

| ![]() I am working on a little schedule for the babies for their first week at home. I plan on having time for them to play together (with and without me) and time for them to play one on one with me. (Yes, I am a little type A.) I want them to both bond with me and feel comfortable being left alone when one of them goes to the vet or something. From the time I have spent with them at the breeder (about 6 hours total), I can say they have their own little personalities. I am exciting to see them develop and grow. |

| ![]() Abby and Max came home yesterday to their new home. They did great. They did not sleep thru the night - which is common. I went in the bath room with them every two hours for about 30 minutes. They went on the pee-pad about 90% of the time in the bathroom. (Not so lucky when we were playing in the living room, but at least I learned where they like to scope out potty sites.) I went back to bed and they went to sleep - and it repeated when I heard them moving again. Course, I got up at 5am (my usual) and they are now sound asleep. Will post a pic when they slow down enough for me to get a good shot. |

| ![]() In some ways two are better than one because they have each other to play with and keep each other company. The only downside I can see is the expense. If you can afford two, all the better, as far as I am concerned. |
