| Hello!! I'm new to the site.... Hello everyone. I've been reading for a while and decided to introduce myself. My name is Isidra and I have a very beautiful baby yorkie. I picked her up from the breeder Thursday. I thought I was naming her sassy but now I just can't decide. I have a list of at least 5 names . I'm gonna wait until the weekend to make my final decision. she is my first yorkie. I have an almost 5 yr old Shih tzu named Oreo that we love to death. I took my new baby to the vet for a checkup and she weighed 3 lbs at 12 weeks. I'm hoping she will be less than 7 lbs full grown but as long as she is healthy I will be happy. We love her so much already. My only concern is that she is not eating/drinking as much as I would like. Both the vet and breeder said it was enough and it would take some time for her to be adjusted. I'm feeding her nutro natural choice lamb and rice formula. Oreo is doing very well on that so o decided to fed it to the my new baby. I hope to make many friends and learn a lot. I've done tons of research on yorkies but I'm no expert so any advice would be welcomed |

| Hi. Congratulations on your beautiful new baby. Hope she will start eating better for you soon. Lack of appetite is sometimes a problem with these little ones. Did you change her food or is that what the breeder gave you to start her off with? My little girl is always hungry but not for dog food. Hope you can get your baby to eat a better diet than mine does. |

| Welcome and congratulations on your new little girl. I love the name you picked but I am partial to it, I have a 8 month old 6 lb little girl, Miss "Sassy" Baby. Good Luck on choosing a forever name.

Sorry, but I cant join your prestigious group since my Zoey isnt purebred. She is a maltese/yorkie mix and still awesome. At least this site welcomes us! | |

| I was going to join the Chicagoyorkies group, but their number one rule is to have a purebred yorkie. Which is fine. That is their choice and their loss. My dog is awesome! LOL.. |

| I'm so sorry. I saw they were on Meetup.com also, and I just assumed they were like our meetup group. Oh well, you can always start your own, or meetup with YT people from your area.

| No sweat off of my back. Everyone has a right to have preferences. Youre right. I may be able to find some awesome yorkie owners from the Chicago area on here that will be more accepting of me and my baby. Life goes on...At least we are welcomed HERE... |
