| Brewers Yeast for ticks???? A friend of mine just told me that she used to use brewers yeast on her Pomerian to keep ticks off. She said she would just take a little of the powder and rub it into her fur, and would sometimes just sprinkle a little bit on her food. She said it also made her fur beautiful. Has anyone else ever heard of this, and does it sound safe? I have heard of to many bad reactions to Frontline etc. and do not want to use them on Miki. We've already pulled one tick off of her this year & will continue to check her daily. If I can use a natural remedy, I'd much rather do that. |
