| Behavior while teething Do pups have physical symptoms during teething similar to a human baby? Poor Whitney has not been herself the last week. She's been sleeping a lot, hasn't eaten as much as normal, has been chewing on her kong a LOT, and has had a gurgly tummy and 2 bouts of diarrhea. She's been drinking and pottying fine, but she isn't interested in playing as much and has been extra cuddly. Her last vet appt was on the 11th and she had her first dose of Trifexis that day. I can tell she just doesn't feel like herself. It reminds me of when my boys were teething as babies.

| Maybe is this was posted under SICK AND INJURED you might get more response...I wouldn't think sleepy and quite is "norm" for a 15 wk old Have you seen teeth on the floor? IDK, i think 15 wks might be kinda early for teething too?? Have you researched side effects on the meds??

| I think this will be her one and only trifexis. How long do side effects last for these kinds of pills? She has pretty much every side effect. :/ I'll be calling her vet shortly to let him know too.

Also, Gizmo is teething right now and he is being a little bit of a brat as well as not eating as much because it hurts, chewing on his bully sticks like their going out of style, and is a little bit more sleepy. He just had his last bordetella shot today and I asked the vet and she checked him just to make sure he was okay, but said it's normal for the above symptoms during teething. Especially since he doesn't turn down his treats, which are soft. So, just keep and eye out for your baby. Your his Momma so you'll know if it's more then just teething which yes, is very similar to that of a human baby symptom wise.
