| hi there! Hi! I'm aurora and I live in frederick MD. I have 2 cats named sammy and peaches and I walk a cute little yorkie named ziggy everyday. Sammy is 14 and peaches is almost 6. Ziggy is around 13 years old so he's pretty old. But he is a very cute, silly little boy! |

| hi! Ziggy apparently loves walking through snow and near-freezing water as i found out today lol. I don't let him walk through the puddles but i can't really stop him from walking through snow. The reason i don't want him walking through puddles that cold in freezing weather is because i don't want his feet to get frostbite. Snow, i can just brush off but water just stays and he starts shivering. He's learning now that when i pick him up and keep walking, it helps him warm up and stop shivering. i've been walking him for maybe a month now. Last edited by Aurora; 03-01-2005 at 12:19 PM. | Hi Aurora - that's cool that you walk a yorkie. We all love yorkies here. You said you live in Frederick, MD, I live in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Pren - congrats on your new yorkie baby. What's her name? How much does she weigh. As for housetraining, it can be difficult at first. Consistency is key, and taking her out or to her potty place a lot! Try doing a search on housebreaking, there are lots of threads aobut it.

| Hello, my Yorkie baby's name is Ko-ko, she weighs 2.8 lbs. I'm being patient with her and the house training. She's a doll. She turned 3 months on Feb 27th.
