Just one for me

I stay at my dads house a few nights a week and it's a zoo over there. Three dogs (including Jackson) and two cats.

wow! thanks so much for all the responses. I love seeing what everyone else has. I want a fourth dog very bad. My next favorite dog is an American Hairless Terrier. ANd i found a litter right in my area. WHich is very rare. But i am not sure about 4 dogs. But we have no children. ANd i work at a veterinary clinic, and so they take turns going to work with me. I am the groomer 3 days a week so they get to hang out in my room. And we have fostered alot of dogs and found them homes. Our 3 are great with other dogs, but we never have them more than a month. So i just dont know if i would feel overwhelmed or not. I am so used to having them around, i dont think it would change much. We also have a large fenced in yard.

I know, me too. SOmetimes i feel like 3 is alot. But i wouldnt have it any other way. Life would be soo boring without them. I love them all

I have just one Yorkie and 4 cats.

As soon as my pup is reliably house trained, I plan on getting him a sister. I don't think you can have just one Yorkie.

I have 4 dogs. Lily, my shih tzu/yorkie mix. Daisy, a Chi. Riley, a Chi/pom mix, and Roxy, the Westie.

We have no other pets.

Zoe (Yorkie) 7 1/2 months
Cindy (Cocker Golden mix) 12
Emma (Blenheim Cavalier) 8
Cooper (Tri Cavalier) 6

I love every one, but will say that Zoe is something very special (and I thought I would always be loyal to cavaliers). Someday, when she's the only one, we might get her a yorkie friend.

I personally think four is too many. I don't quite have the control I want, nor can I be the best dog mommy. Cindy's old and needs more attention and less bothering from the puppy; Cooper is a love hog and doesn't get enough because Zoe is even more of a love hog; Emma is happy almost all the time/the "dumb blonde" of the group--but snores like a 70-year old man. And Zoe could use more one-on-one training time. Some days I feel like my house is a litter box with Zoe still potty training, Emma refusing to go out if it's raining, wet or cold, and the others clearly thinking "what the h_ll, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" and tossing a poop or two into the mix!

People think I've gone 'round the bend when they hear (or witness

).
But, it's a fun crazy

i have
1 yorkie age 4 boy
1 yorkie age 2 girl
5 yorkie pups age 9 weeks old
2 cats girl and boy both been done mum and son lol
1 African grey age 16 year
1 spur thighed tortoise 7 months
plus loads of fish in the pond
a nice little zoo where everyone gets on with each other

Years back I had 5 dogs (2 retired greyhounds, collie, & 2 chihuahuas) and 2 siamese cats. They have all passed away and now it is just Leyla, an african gray parrot and one outdoor cat. Life is much simpler with a small family (and the house is easier to clean)

We have 2 Basset sisters, a shorkie, a yorkie and our little shih tzu. We also have 15 cats 12 cockatiels, and 2 guinea pigs.

I technically only have my Levi (three-year-old Yorkie), but my younger brother and his dog moved in with us. So much more fun with two pups in the house.

We're not quite sure what kind of dog Dallas is, but he sure is cute! He was a stray picked up by the Humane Society. Brother got him as a puppy, and he is now a year and a half old. He and Levi play so well together. They are best buddies.
