| Switching/transitioning food is a pain! Its been over a week and I am trying to switch Minnie off Science Diet to Wellness. She does not like it and eats all the SD kibble and leaves the Wellness behind. Any suggestions for other food to try her with? |

| Good luck with that. I tried to go from Royal Canine to Wellness (slowly) because the guy in Petco said that was the best. Wellness didn't agree with Copper. I took it back and they refunded. I then decided to stick with Royal Canine, but slowly transitioned to the adult formula. No problems. This is working...it may not be the best food on the market, but the dog likes it so we are sticking with it. I wish you the best.

| I am lucky that my kids have stomachs of steel- lol- I just find a new food I like, open the bag and start feeding- there is never any transition period. Some foods I have had success with are Natural Balance, Nature's Variety, FROMM, GO!.

| Same here, no transition period needed for my dogs. They pretty much will eat anything. But My dogs love wellness adult chicken flavor. Even my dog who is actually picky. Guess im lucky my dogs are pretty easy to please. Maybe you can try adding a little canned to mix it all together so she will get used to it, and slowly decrease the science diet that way. |

| Maybe you could try a little bit of canned or pour some broth over it? Whenever we switch...we just do it. I don't do it gradually. I had to take Moshe off BB Lamb and Oatmeal (Was giving him diarrhea) and we switched to Wellness 5 puppy. I just started giving it to him instead of the BB and he never noticed

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I tried adding Wellness to my girls diet and one had trouble eating the shape kibble and 2 had loose poops is spite of switching slowly. So now I am adding Solid Gold.

| Crush it into small pieces and mix? It would probably be just fine to do a quick switch, but I can't say I'd recommend it. Yorkies have good digestive systems until one day when...they just don't anymore.
