| Nail Clipper in my Eyes? You would have to do that intentionally. THey real question, is how much damamge the clipper would do while it is in your eyes. |

| I also have my Vet do it... I just swing him by once a month. Although it is a bit pricey [$15] so I have been thinking lately perhaps I should start thinking about doing it myself. Riley lets me do whatever do trim his feet and all and I'm thinking he would probably feel more comfortable with me doing it. He always gets a little nervous when they take him to the back. |

| I use these: Millers Forge Pet Nail Clipper They lock closed too easily, but are pretty decent for the price. I can't stand the true guillotine-type clippers.

| I use a dremmel tool and file them down. No more too short, no more sharp edges, and no more struggle. It's been a good purchase.

| I use human nail clippers. Just don't cut them too short. If you're afraid of cutting the cuticle, use a dremmel to file them down. Also giving a treat immediately after makes pedicure time a good thing. Last edited by MiasMomandDad; 04-22-2011 at 06:53 AM. |

Same exact kind I use, I hate those guillotine ones also, you can't get the right angle, you have to slide the nail into them blah. I use these on my cats back nails too, all by myself might I add

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I use the Miller's forge too. With 4 I had to learn to do it myself. I just take a little off at a time.
