Yorkie Yakker | Hobo LOVES his bath!!!!! Does anyone else have a yorkie that just absolutely LOVES water and his bath???? My darling little 'Hobo' who is only 4 months old (born on Christmas Eve!) has always enjoyed his bath immensely.....i can even lay him on his back in the sink or tub.....and he just lays there! it's such a pleasure bathing him (compared to my other dogs, Dooley and Dapple) that i give him one once a week or more. i seldom need to use any shampoo on him as he stays so clean and is mostly an 'inside' dog. I'd love to hear your bathing stories!!!! |

No Longer a Member | I'm sure you know you're very lucky! lol, Rizzo acts like I'm trying to kill him everytime. Though he will go wading through dirty water, as soon as the bath starts running, so does he! lol. |

| LOL!! Riley tolerates it.... He doesn't go running when I ask him if he wants a bath. He does go crazy afterward.... running around like a lightening bolt. |

| Jeds H.A.T.E.S his bath time but he will "allow" me to do it. Afterward he too will bolt around the house rubbing his face on the carpet then drag out every toy that he has |

| Jilly, my last Yorkie, hated her bath and Tibbe loves his. He stands so still and calmly, leaning into the water as I pour it over him and only moving around if I get water over his nose. He absolutely loves the warm water and the whole thing. When I ask him if he wants a bath, he starts to twirl around and will come to me to be lifted up and into the water! Unbelievable. He is the ONLY dog I have ever had that liked his bath!

Jake had his first bath (that I gave him) a few days ago. He didn't love it but he didn't resist too much either. He did race around the house afterwards...that always makes me smile. | |

| Moshe hates his bath. It takes hours after for him to get back on speaking terms with me. My other two deal with it okay. Bella who is 10 years old just stands there. She doesn't enjoy it but I guess she has learned to tolerate it. Rudy Just sits there the whole time giving me this sad "why me" look. I'm not too popular on bath day.

| ZoE loves her bath time! I've never had a yorkie before that has. It's kinda weird. She gets her bath in the kitchen sink and on the rare occasion I hand wash dishes, she comes running all excited thinking its her bath time.

| You are very, very lucky. Just today we were bathing and Finnigan jumped out like 3 times... Gwennidyln just stands there, but doesn't particularly enjoy it.

| I don't think that Belle LOVES her bath, but she certainly doesn't mind it. She likes to turn her head and bite at the water when I'm using the sprayer to rinse off her body. She will also jump into the tub when Oliver is getting his bath. She's a silly little girl

| Teddi takes showers with me and she loves it. I have a mat on the bottom on the shower so she doesn't slip and she walks under the water to rinse herself off after I put on her shampoo. After I turn off the water I tell her to shake and she does. It's really cute.
