| ![]() I am pretty sure floppy ear or not has nothing to do with the fact of being purebred

| ![]() I've never heard of that being a factor on whether or not its purebred or not.. like the others say,, ignore her! If you are in love already, thats what matters! Tay is just over 13 weeks and her ears are now standing up (both actually started today-one has been up about a week or so ?). But we would love the little terror either way, or if she had 1 ear ![]()

| ![]() Oh my gosh, Floppy easrs don't mean a mutt!! Some ears are too heavy, too long.. Some will never stand, some just need help. Did you shave your dogs ears and tape them for 4 days at a time?? My dog Lilly is a prue breed. I own her mother and a friend of mine owns the father, both parents ears are erect. Lilly is almost 6 months old and her ears are still floppy!! Every once in a while they stand on their own but most times they are down. I have shaved them and taped them, but she is major teething right now so I'm not going to worry about it.. But I know she is a prue breed!! ![]()

| ![]() Teddy is Yorkie through and through and if I cared enough to I could pick him apart where faults are concerned, but I don't he is my companion and once I invested my love in him that was it. I don't care when someone says he's big because I know he is big and I don't care if he has a little thing going on with his ears that somedays makes me think he is relatives with the flying nun he is and always will be the love of my life.

| ![]() Abbie is purebread and her ears don't stand up . Her dad's don't but her moms did. I know she is just as special to me as she would be with ears that stood up. Don't worry about it. Yours will probably be much smarter and cuter anyway. And you will love him the same. you wait and see.

| ![]() My Sully is a year old and has floppy ears, most of the time.....and he's healthy as ever and looks exactly like a yorkie should! So don't stress. And congrats on your new puppy! Who cares what your aunt thinks! Your yorkie is your biggest fan.

| ![]() Don't worry about what your aunt says. I know you care about her feelings but in the end its about you and your new furbabies happiness. There are many floppied eared dogs that are pure bred. Just do what makes you happy and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. ![]()

| ![]() Usually the larger males have floppy ears. Don't know why. Maybe it's God's way to make them adorable. Teri http://www.bowwowcouture.com |
