| New little dog owner Hi I just adopeted a silky terrier two days ago. I know this is a yorkie forum but couldnt find a forum to ask a couple of questions. I hope that its ok for me to post here. |

No Longer a Member | I second that! I've been looking at all kinds of different websites about silkies and yorkies and I'm still baffeled. A Silky in a Yorkie haircut looks like a Yorkie, and a Yorkie with a Silky cut can look like a Silky. Lol, it's very confusing. One website made me think Rizzo was a Silky, but alas, he is a little Yorkie King |

| Welcome to YT and hope you like it as much as I do. A Silky is like a Yorkie and they are both small terriers so you will probably find almost everything about Yorkies is applicable to your dog except some of the topknot posts. My sister had a darling little Silky that the family all loved so much. I love that breed, too. They are like JRT's in so many ways, too. Have a great day.
