				   |      Was there a history of reactions here? What kind?    You have to do what's right for your family and your pup. That said, a lot of groomers defer to the attending vet's recommendations. All they have to do is write a letter. So I'd find a vet that was more concerned about what your sweetheart is going through with these things. They will help you figure out which ones are truly needed. AAHA accredited hospitals are a bit more likely to use the 3 year DHPP protocol.
