Hey Bonnie, this one mine and refinishing takes a good bit of work. But, keep in mind, if you find a wood unfinished, you could always paint it in like a mat black...would be gorgeous.

Or, if you find and old piece to use, all you have to do is rough up the old finish with sandpaper (rub in same direction) and then still paint it. Would be very nice.

Sure thing....I love everything about refinishing. Hmmm, distance could be a problem though, :D

Love the extendable shower rod idea, too! :) So easy to install and I bet it does work well. I wouldn't have thought of that.

ABSOLUTELY!! They are actually made to be stackable.... they have holes where if you buy two you can stack them together and even anchor them into the wall.

I found adorable baby hangers @Target through the yrs. They are different colors with monkey, zebra, panda, etc. on front in dollar section. You can see some of them in my for sale thread that I used for hanging.
I was lucky in that I inherited my grandmothers wardrobe that has a large mirror on one side & drawers on the other. I actually used when my daughter was a baby & now is "Bella's".:p

I love refinishing too its alot of work but when you see the finished piece it makes it all worth it. If I can work in the time Im going to refinish my kitchen table this summer

Oh wow, that will be really nice. You will have to share a pic when you get it done. Same here, it's always a getting the time thing for me too. There's so much I would like to do.....but darn...I have to work, LOL.

Thank you! You are lucky that you have that wardrobe - if I could have anything I wanted for this I would want an antique wardrobe like yours.

That would work, or one can just paint over it with regular latex house paint (for walls) ... maybe a light sanding first to rough up any slick spots (helps the paint to stick). Painting is easier than staining, less labor intensive, and you can get water based paints so clean up is easy. But if it's in good enough shape that you're satisfied with, doing nothing to it really sounds good... (that's called the 'Rustic' look!)

No way girls, mine woudn't be big enough for all Bon's stuff. Mine is a CD cabinet (look bigger in the pics) it's only 25 W x 11 D x 58 H. She will probably need something bigger. I already wish I had more room, LOL.

I haven't been able to find exactly what I wanted....until this morning. I've been checking Craigslist and found this. What do you think? Will it work for what I'm wanting?

It's just over 4' tall and about 3' wide, and I think she said it was 19" deep. All the shelves except the one the monitor is on are adjustable/removable. And she's asking a very reasonable price for it. Opinions, please. :)

YAY! I think that will be perfect.:D Is it black? I actually like it black. I also like that it has different sections. New handles & paint, shelving, maybe baskets.....voila!
This is funny because this weekend, I was on craigslist looking for a desk for my Mom. I saw so many computer & tv armoires & I thought of you. Lots of people selling them because of the new slim tvs/computer monitors. I was meaning to post on yr thread, but you were already there with the idea.:p
