				   | OK I posted this a few days ago about Hayley getting very aggressive with me when I wash her face and even maybe trys to nip me. So tonite I was washing her face and she was pitching a fit so I gave my husband the wash rag and told him to do it and she was so nice to him and even gave him kisses during the procedure!!! So she must like him better than me or either she thinks I easy and she can treat me any way. Can anyone please explain this to me I really am upset and dont know how to handle this

				   | I guess she felt more confortable with your hubby. But that doesnt mean she loves you any less. I know it hurts our feelings when we feel that they prefer someone more than us, but I bet that is not the case. Regarding your pup biting you tell her NO bite and ignore her. Hope that works. I wish I have something better to say to help you. |

				   | Possibly you could have been holding her in such a way that it was pressing on some part of her body that was sensitive......??? could be.......!!!!!

				   | I'm guessing that she is submissive to your husband and not as submissive to you.. men have stronger voices and she probably recognizes him as alpha over her. You must become the leader of the pack.. Don't let her get by with biting you.. tell her no bite or whatever.. if you do you are submitting yourself to her and reinforcing her behavior to you.

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOLOL !! LITTLE TRAITOR !! My girls are GLUED to me but give me the hardest time when I do stuff they don't like - Because they are NOT used to my husband doing anything - when he does do something (which is RARE) they are intimidated ...and they REALLY suck up to him.... With me...they know they have me wrapped around their little paws...and konw if they act like little brats I cave ...and they get their own way - don't take it personal - they act worse for the one they love the most I think !! |

				   | A lot of times it is what they know they can get away with you. Just like kids they will push you..... Just have a little patients and stay firm with her and she will come around and understand that you are caring for her and want the best for her. So don't worry to much.... She loves you mommie....

				   | DO NOT GET YOUR FEELING HURT!! she loves you....but yes ahe is more submissive to males..and that is fine. Dollar is always a lot better when my boyfriend is around but when he goes out of town he tramples all over. He is bad and horrible, but I dont take ot personally. I just think that he knows that I am a gril. LOL!

				   | Sounds to me like she thinks hubby is alpha dog. There is always one in the pack and I think it's him. LOL

				   | Tinkerbell would be so rotton when she was a puppy when I would cut her nails and stuff like that. But if Daddy did it, is was No problem! I don't know why she fussed for me. But I did keep at it and kept telling her sternly no. She is an angel now....just keep being persistent, tell her no and do it anyway. |

				   | Adding my story to the mix...like everyone else, my two have all their needs met by me from cuddling to feeding to bathing. When hubby isn't home, they are stuck to me like glue!! But when he is home, they want to be right there where he is (Gabby more so than Gage)!! I think the reason Gage wants to be with him is because Gabby is and he's such a jealous little guy. And although it hurts to see her react differently with your hubby, she does love you ![]() Hang in there!Suzi |

				   | I also have this problem with only Gidget. How do you correct the behavior. She definately thinks she's the alpha. She is constantly jumping up and biffing in the face and also kissing. It is annoying. She just jumps up and boom in your face boinking you in the nose. I think she needs classes but she is a year old and thinks she runs the house(I guess she does) |

				   | dont feel bad the lady that cuts me and my husbands hair is the lady that I bought Chloe from and last week we took her with us when we went to get our haircut so that she could see her. Well Judy (the lady that cuts our hair) said let me put a bow in her hair and I said good luck I fought with her for 30 minutes today and still couldnt get one in but Chloe just sit so still and she let her put a bow in her hair with no fits I was so jealous.
