| Best Flea & Tick Prevention I need to know what flea and tick prevention is good for the wee ones. I can't afford something for an outrageous cost but want what's healthiest for my furball. I also am going to start him on heart worm meds so any tips on that? I've heard mixed emotions and thoughts on the heart worm meds..

| Everyone has their own preferences for different reasons. I've used Advantix with excellent results. I also use Heartgard. I prefer the separate dosing of the heartworm medication as opposed to using an all in one, because I (personally) don't like to put so much medication in them all at once.

| I use advantage and heartquard. I get them at the vet but you sometimes I pick it up at pet supplies plus. Someone on here also said you can get it at petco. Its cheaper for me to get it at the vet so thats why I just get it there.

| I got these from my vet, but you can check prices at the pet supply stores and on-line places, too, to get the best price. I just got a big supply when I got Kacee.

| I need to go get something for Daisy. I think she picked up a few outside. she is running her snout along the carpet...and she has one spot on her leg that she keeps digging at? I am washing all her stuff (and out bedding!) and I just gave her a bath in seargants flea and tick shampoo..but I need to pick something up as a treatment. Poor thing keeps digging at this one spot.....
